Replace old crowns with new ones to match the natural teeth
Dental Materials have evolved extensively over the years. Crowns made of ceramic can nowadays be made to look like the natural teeth. Older ceramic types could not always achieve the same natural look. In this case, the old, mismatched crowns were replaced with new ones so that the front teeth all have a matching colour and shade and appear more natural.
All dental treatment was carried out by Dr Christine Yew (AHPRA registration: DEN0001023296)

Restoring front teeth with fillings, crowns and implants
Broken down and decayed teeth have been either restored or replaced. Restoring decayed teeth is possible if the decay is not too advanced. Broken down teeth which cannot be repaired have been extracted and replaced with implants to rebuild this patient's front teeth

Ceramic crowns for worn down front teeth
Teeth can get worn down over time from grinding and erosion, leading to an uneven appearance and thinned out, transparent enamel. Full ceramic crowns were placed on those worn down front teeth to rejuvenate the smile and restore harmony and esthetics. The crowns also prevent further wear of the teeth.

Ceramic crown for a broken front tooth
This fractured central incisor (front tooth) had been repaired several times with composite resin but kept breaking. It was finally decided to place a ceramic crown over the tooth. A good shade match was achieved and this crown will last much longer than a composite resin buildup. Furthermore, the ceramic will not discolor or dull over time.
