A traumatic bite led to the front teeth wearing down and chipping. To achieve this result, the bite was first corrected with orthodontic treatment. The teeth were bleached and ceramic veneers were then placed on the 2 central incisors. Resin composite bonding was then done on the other front teeth to cover the worn surfaces and mask the defects.
These worn down, discoloured teeth were restored to a natural and aesthetic state with a combination of ceramic veneers and crowns. Old fillings were replaced first to ensure the teeth were free of decay and gingival health was addressed with improved hygiene.
To replace a missing front tooth, a single implant was first placed in the bone. A porcelain crown was then affixed to the implant in order to achieve a harmonious result.
This damaged canine was successfully restored with a single ceramic veneer.
The natural smile was carefully studied first in order to recreate the natural shade and contour of the natural tooth so that the veneer blends into the rest of the smile.
QST orthodontics with ceramic brackets, was used to correct these misaligned front teeth and prominent canines. The result is an improved, more harmonious smile.
